Public Prototyping Scripts

We’ve been calling our first public prototyping session our ‘dumb’ prototype. These rudimentary versions of the DivRods will have no feedback loop, they do not know where they are, and they do not collect and respond to user feedback.  The purpose of this prototype test is to get a sense of how users understand and respond to the light and haptic feedback system we’re designing. The diagrams below illustrate two different paths we hope the users will understand by the blinking lights and vibration of the rods.
