3D Printed Prototypes_V3

For the third set of prototypes we went with a more horn-like form both for practical and aesthetic reasons. This geometry is much simpler than previous iterations and was modeled with a technique that is less likely to have problems with self-intersecting surfaces and small radii that were causing problems with shelling the previous models.

What we’ve discovered with this set of prototypes is that we will need change the underside of our form to accommodate the embedded wireless charging system.  Lots of learning from this iterative approach!
